Whoever penned this statement was most certainly a gardener or a farmer, for those that live closest to the earth are not only the most tolerant of nature’s ways, but the most forgiving–even when droplets fall at the most inconvenient of times. 🙂

I took a detour today away from my usual along the dunes and beach for my walk, doing the woods trail instead.  With all this rain we’ve had, everything has just come alive. The fiddleheads have nearly passed, the marsh marigolds ablaze, a few early trillium were spotted, and one lone columbine graced the paths.

Need to pause this morning? I know I did. Everyone’s tired.  No matter who you voted for, we’re all a little weary today.  Take a minute out of your busy day, and just breathe.  Most of you regular visitors to my blog know very well that I pretty much love being on the beach each day just as the sun is coming up to greet the new day.

As chilly as a morning can be here in November, I was warmed by the solitude, the gentleness of the ocean and the crimson glow on the horizon.  Namaste.
