Marching to Spring

I suppose it wouldn’t be a true New England winter experience without your basic winter cold.  I felt like I had been hit by a truck.  Thank goodness that’s out of the way now.    But yesterday as the boys and I went for our walk for the first time after ten days of aches, chills, sniffles and overall feeling downright lousy, I felt a bit like a groundhog emerging from hibernation.  The sun has gotten noticeably brighter and much of our mountains of snow is disappearing after a couple of nights of heavy rain.

It’s nice to welcome in March..we’re that much closer to spring planting. Counting down.. only seventeen more days!
