Very early, the other day as I walked along the beach, a dear friend came to my mind, as he often does as I stroll along with my thoughts. I was loving the quiet full silence as I looked out over the water. A lobster boat was slowly moving along, hauling in trap after trap, and a few gulls dipped in and out of the smooth surfaced water diving for the remains being cast overboard. I so wanted to share that moment with you, I thought.  The calmness of the water, reflected the tranquility I was feeling–not one ounce of turbulence below, considering my crazy schedule this time of year.  This was one of those rare times when I was exactly where I wanted to be, with the perfect person in my heart, doing what I wanted to be doing. I was feeling what I loved feeling — at peace and  very safe. j.a.s.
