Crossing Over

Oliver, over the years…

This was a long day. I hate to even write about this. 💔 Our friend, sweet Oliver left us recently and went to join his brother, Yoshi over the 🌈 Rainbow Bridge. Today, the greenhouses felt a bit empty without these furry friends. The counters have too much room on them, without these goof balls spreading out to enjoy the warmth or climbing into shipment boxes.

Such a sweet sweet boy. Ollie was the official meeter and greeter at our favorite nursery, always stylishly donned in a variety of cardigan sweaters or colorful hoodies… or always bundled up under his cozy fave blanket. May you enjoy the heavens as you did this earth, Oliver. You will be sorely missed 💕 😢

Meet Beau

My brother has a new family addition and sent these photos to me this morning. From birth to now eight weeks old today… puppy love.

Meet Beau… 3 days old

He came from a litter of nine

Growing by leaps & bounds

His first night home, he wanted nothing to do with his crate, crying for hours until my brother finally caved, if there was to be any chance of catching a couple of hours sleep… and so they brought him up to bed with them. The little monkey just missed his companions he was used to snoozing with I think. They have since nicknamed him.. the Tasmanian devil 😃 He now loves his kennel, sleeps through the night and enjoys his morning visits to the barn for a visit with the horses. Beau is a very smart pup, though now it’s become a battle of wits getting him trained.

Today, he was put in ‘time out’ after getting caught chasing the hens around LOL Sounds like he misses his sibling playmates.
